Today I read the great book, Management of team, written by Jean-Pierre Brun. He is a French expert about health in work places.
As his book is well written and gives excellent advices, I recommend you to read it if you are a manager and more generally if you have to deal with a team.

Recognize your colleagues' work

The first essential rule is pay attention to your colleagues' efforts. You must show them you notice they do their best. You must do it with authenticity.

This point is extremely important for every company and more generally every team. Thus among companies listed in Fortune 100, 96% have a program of recognition which is not based on money.

So you can improve your team's efficiency or company's productivity without spending money. Isn't it interesting to know that?

Give value to people

You can ask the opinion of your colleague about a topic about which he is familiar.

You can be more present beside your team. You can do efforts to know the work of everybody.

You can emphasize the positive behavior of your colleague.

Change the way of working

Propose a new mission to your employee.

Give him an award when he succeeds in achieving his goals.

Organize a meeting to emphasize the contribution of a group.

Congratulate a colleague who receives a letter of a satisfied customer.

Recognize investment in work

Emphasize the work of people in the shadow.

Recognize risks they took and the energy they spent.

Recognize the value of your employees' ideas.

Congratulate for the results

Organize small meetings to evaluate your employees.

Give a bonus for a particular goal.

Emphasize a good success during a meetin.

Finally, do not forget that if you don't tell people, you appreciate them, they will imagine you don't. In addition, you must recognize the efforts of your colleagues or teammates daily.
